With the retirement of several long serving members from the Competition and Technical Commission C&TC), IDBF is now seeking expressions of Interest (EOI) from members who are willing to contribute to the development of dragon boating throughout the world.
Attached is the Terms of Reference. If you are interested or know of anyone who would be willing to nominate to be on the C&TC then please send maximum 1 page CV listing your skills and experience (pertaining to dragon boating) and any other skills which may be beneficial to a roll on the C&TC including maximum 250 words of why you would like to join the C&TC.
The skills, knowledge, education and experience we are looking for on the C&TC is as follows:
- Interest and understanding of Rules and Regulations
- Experience in organising regattas
- Coordination and training of Officials (Training and Assessment, Presenter Qualifications)
- Boat and paddle specifications
- Technical improvements

Successful applicants will be advised via email by mid February. It is anticipated the C&TC would have a face to face meeting in Adelaide.
